Sunrise No 1

Inspired by the Sunrise canoe ride at MaunaLani.

    As per the Hawaiian tradition:greeting the sun as it rises through ceremony or the Hawaiian chant E’ala e. This chant speaks to the sun as being Kane or the life giving star and it’s uprising from the deepest depths of the ocean to its zenith point & the light & life it will bring to the Aina(land) & the people. The thought is that our actions, intentions, vibrations & gratitude through ceremony will lift the sun up higher into the ski every day.
